IMAX NAScar 3D The official soundtrack to the hit IMAX film!

The 14-song NAScar 3D: The IMAX Experience soundtrack includes songs from the IMAX film and several bonus tracks from recent NAScar image campaigns. The CD features new songs from platinum-selling artists LeAnn Rimes and Steve Harwell (lead singer of Smash Mouth), plus songs from Sheryl Crow, Collective Soul and rock group P.O.D., whose hit “Boom” was featured in one of the film’s most memorable racing scenes. Rounding out the collection is Dave Robidoux’s composition “Thunder (NAScar Theme),” which debuted at the start of the 2004 NAScar season.
Customer Review: American racing never sounded so good !!!
To hear the music on its own is one thing, hearing it alongside the action in the IMAX film, is an all out attack on the senses. A great collection of songs, especailly P.O.D.’s ‘Boom’, which accompanies the experience of watching cars race at over 200mph, as perfectly as the way Jimmie Hendrix played the guitar. On their own, each track will please any listener, for example: if you like rock, or are beginning to like rock, then this CD is a good place to start, with tracks like ‘Boom’ or ‘You’ll Never Catch Me’. But without the film, that’s all they do. I’m not saying you shouldn’t buy this CD, far from it, which is why I’m giving it top marks, but nothing beats the feeling you get when listening to the music as well as watching a field of NAScar’s ‘thunder’ around Daytona Speedway at full throttle. Go buy the CD and the film. You won’t be disappointed with either.
